What personal data we collect for lesson enquiries, how long we keep it, and your rights under Korean privacy law.

Data we collect
- Contact form fields: name, email, optional lesson preference, preferred start window, and message content
- Enrolment and invoicing details needed to confirm seats and issue receipts
- Cookie and similar technical data as described in our cookies policy
We do not ask for brokerage account numbers, passwords, or government ID through the public contact form.
Purposes
We use data to answer enquiries, schedule lessons, process deposits and balances, improve classroom logistics, and meet accounting or legal duties in Korea.
Retention
Enquiry messages without enrolment are kept up to 24 months. Enrolment and payment records are retained for the period required by Korean commercial and tax rules, typically up to five years. Cookie lifetimes are listed on the cookies page.
Your rights
Subject to the Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA) of Korea, you may request access, correction, deletion, or restriction of processing, and you may withdraw consent where processing is consent-based. Contact info@automationinsights.digital. You may also lodge a complaint with the Personal Information Protection Commission (PIPC).
International transfers
Our primary operations and storage are in the Republic of Korea. If a processor outside Korea is used (for example an email host), we apply contractual safeguards appropriate under PIPA and inform you when a transfer is material to your enrolment.
Security
We limit access to enrolment data to staff who need it for teaching or administration. No method of transmission is perfectly secure; please avoid sending sensitive financial credentials by email.
