Curriculum path
A clear sequence from first profile drawings to a personal breakout validation checklist — the path most participants follow.
This path is how we sequence technical analysis training at Automation Insights. You do not need every step, but skipping profile construction before breakout drills usually wastes a clinic seat.
Auction vocabulary
Single prints, balance, imbalance, and why volume at a price matters more than a single candle’s close. Taught inside the intensive’s first morning or, for newcomers, during a preparatory chart review.
Building the volume profile
Construct session and composite profiles. Locate the point of control, value area, high-volume nodes, and low-volume shelves. Practice until you can sketch a profile without staring at software defaults.
Value migration
Read how value shifts across days. Distinguish unfinished auctions from successful range extensions. This block sits at the centre of the Volume Profile Intensive.
Breakout validation
Apply the checklist: prior profile location, acceptance beyond the edge, volume on the break, time held, and invalidation. Reinforced in the Breakout Validation Clinic and day three of the intensive.
Personal rule set
Rewrite your plan for one market only. Chart Review Sessions audit whether live trades obeyed that plan — including the mild ones you would rather forget.
