Preparing charts for a review session
What to send before a ninety-minute review so the time is spent on decisions, not hunting for screenshots.
Chart Review Sessions move quickly when the homework arrives complete. Here is the pack we ask for.
Three to five trades
Include winners and losers. Each should show the timeframe you actually used for the entry decision, plus one higher timeframe for context. Cropping out the loss that “doesn’t count” wastes the appointment.
Annotations we need
- Session volume profile or a hand sketch of value and POC
- The breakout or fade level you cared about
- Where you entered, added, reduced, and exited
- One sentence on what you believed the auction was doing
What we skip
Broker statements, unrelated watchlists, and screenshots without timestamps. If English notes feel awkward, bullet points are enough — the charts carry the weight.
Send the pack at least one business day before the sitting. If something is missing, we will say so rather than fill the hour with reconstruction.
